AMINE Regenerator

Recently EM completed an urgent order to fabricate a replacement AMINE regenerator for a local oil refinery. Having this pressure vessel out of commission meant the refinery could not operate at full capacity causing a sizable financial liability to our client. With our clients satisfaction in mind our technicians and engineers worked 7 days a week and well into the night on many occasions to complete the project. Upon completion vessel was just over 80 feet in length and weighed over 32 tons.

To ensure quality and to adhere to client specifications we ran a battery of tests on this pressure vessel including radiographic (RT), liquid penetrant (LPI), ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MPI), positive material identification (PMI) and ferrite content.
